Swimming Instructor—Stamford School

Stamford School is looking to hire passionate Level 2 Swimming Instructors to deliver the highest standard of swimming instruction for our popular Swim School held at the main Sports Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure swimming lessons operate within the Stamford School Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan and comply with risk assessment controls.
• Adhere to lesson start and finish times.
• Follow the standards set by the Swim School Principal and place students in the correct class.
• Assist staff in identifying individual needs and provide additional support as required.
• Oversee smooth transfer of pupils between classes.
• Communicate regularly with teaching staff to ensure smooth running of the Swim School.
• Follow the ‘learn to swim framework’ and issue certificates when necessary.
