The Sustainability Coordinator works with faculty, staff, students, and other partners to promote sustainability on the Luther College campus and in the community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Campus Operations:Climate Neutrality: Work with partners to explore and develop strategies for meeting Luther’s climate neutrality timetable, including seeking resources to accelerate climate reduction efforts. Conservation: Work with partners to develop and promote a culture of conservation on campus among students, faculty, and staff. Waste: Develop and implement strategies to achieve reductions in campus energy usage and solid waste disposal through the creation and implementation of a zero-waste plan. Food: Work with Sodexo to support sustainable food efforts, including local purchasing, plant based options and the Cafeteria to Community Program.
