Macmahon is seeking an experienced Surveyor to support the recommencement of operations at Mt Carlton mine. Located approximately two hours south of Townsville, Mt Carlton is a gold silver operation preparing to transition from care and maintenance back into production. This restart presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of safe, efficient and sustainable operational practices from the outset.

This position operates on an 7 Days On / 7 Days Off roster, DIDO Only.

About The Role

• Conduct field surveys for pit designs, dig blocks, drill patterns, haul roads, dumps and rehabilitation areas 
• Produce accurate survey pickups, volumes, and spatial data for planning and reporting 
• Maintain mine survey control networks, monuments and reference points 
• Set out designs, boundaries, blast patterns and infrastructure locations
