Overview

The Entry Level Survey Technician will support surveyors and project teams in the collection, processing, and management of spatial and measurement data across a range of projects. Based in Whitehaven, the role provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical surveying skills through on‑job training, site experience, and exposure to modern surveying technologies. This position is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is keen to learn, develop technical capability, and work safely in challenging site environments.

Your role

• Assist with site‑based surveying activities, including setting out, measurement, and data capture.
• Support the use of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser scanners, and levels.
• Help collect, check, and record survey data accurately and in line with project requirements.
