Job Description
This role leads field survey operations for a wide range of projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction stakeout surveys. You perform survey calculations, collect and verify data, and support the preparation of survey documents for municipal, commercial, industrial, and utility-related projects across Southeast Michigan.
Responsibilities
Conduct various types of field surveying, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction stakeout surveys.
Focus initially on topographic and construction staking work, with some boundary surveying primarily to determine right-of-way rather than completing certified surveys.
Perform survey calculations to support field work, layout, and data verification.
Interpret and verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements, calculations, and field notes.
