Job Description
The Survey CAD Technician uses AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support civil engineers and surveyors by producing high-quality design and drafting deliverables. This role prepares layouts, detail drawings, sketches, and diagrams for a variety of projects, initially focusing on a large survey project and later contributing to survey, municipal, and land development work. The position combines technical drafting expertise with close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, timely, and client-focused solutions.
Responsibilities

+ Produce detailed drawings using computer-assisted design and drafting equipment and software, primarily Civil 3D and AutoCAD 2D.

+ Interpret and analyze sketches, drawings, notes, and verbal information from engineers, surveyors, technicians, and designers to determine appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments.
