About the Role
Medworks is hiring a Certified Surgical First Assistant or Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical support team serving hospitals and surgery centers throughout the greater Tidewater, VA region.
In this mobile, hands-on role, you will travel between client sites to support surgical teams and operate specialty surgical equipment during procedures. Depending on your certification and experience, you may assist surgeons directly during procedures or support the surgical team by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and ensuring operating room readiness.
You'll play a critical role in the operating room by helping ensure each case proceeds safely, efficiently, and smoothly. From preparing sterile instruments to assisting surgeons and operating Medworks equipment, your work directly contributes to positive patient outcomes.
