Surgery - Thoracic Physician Assistant

SIH Cardiothoracic Surgery is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team of 4 physicians and 1 PA in Carbondale, Illinois.

Role Specifics:

• Serve as First Assist on CT cases
• Vein harvesting (EVH)
• Round on consults and post-operative patients
• Clinic follow up with post-operative patient, suture/staple removal, wound care, and patient education
  

Qualifications:

• Completion of a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
• Current PA-C designation
• Current IL DEA and Controlled Substance license
• Current AHA ACLS
