General Surgeon Opportunity

Rutherford Regional Health System, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Rutherfordton, North Carolina (in the Asheville/Spartanburg/Charlotte area) is growing with the addition of an employed, full-time board certified/board eligible general surgeon to strengthen our established team at Rutherford Surgical Associates. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.

Current providers include cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, family medicine, behavioral health, ob/gyn, and pediatrics.

Requirements: bread and butter general surgery, GI, laparoscopic procedures. Average 10-20 patients/day.

Schedule and call:

• Clinic Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
• OR in the morning followed by clinic
• CALL 1:3 (on call for GS and GI simultaneously)

Clinic EMR- Athena, hospital EMR- Meditech.
