Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Banner University Medical Group Tucson is seeking to hire two experienced Advanced Practice Providers (ACNP or PA) to support to our Cardiothoracic Surgeons and team . In this team-oriented practice, we all help each other to provide great care to our patients. As one might think, open heart surgery can be stressful, so the ability to work under pressure is a must. We are a teaching institution and have many individuals learning simultaneously. Good communication skills and a calm demeanor are essential in this position. This is a satisfying and challenging environment and one that requires extremely detailed skills along with a positive attitude. This APP professional will assist the CT surgeons in the OR setting in a first assist capacity. The ideal candidate helps Cardiothoracic Surgeons, and collaborates with Residents, Fellows, and clinicians from the Cardiology, Thoracic, Transplant, Radiology, and Anesthesia departments.
