Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer based in Wigram. We’re seeking skilled and motivated SMT Operators with an engineering background to join their dynamic team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Operating SMT machines efficiently to minimise downtime
• Setting up machines for production runs
• Changing components and applying solder paste to boards
• Inspecting assembled products for faults
• Controlling stencils and maintaining SMT quality records
• SMT hand placement
• Notifying the Store Controller when reels of parts are low
• Monitoring solder paste and consumables inventory
• Performing preventive maintenance of SMT machines
• Monitoring machine reject/fault rates
• Supporting production as needed during overload periods
• Inspecting finished PCBs and performing fault analysis
