Support Worker

Location: Leek, Staffordshire. Pay: £13.86 - £14.61 per hour. Right to work in the UK required; sponsorship not available.

Work patterns: Long day shifts including early starts, late evenings, and weekends, fairly planned within the rotas.

What You’ll Do

• Support children and young people (ages 3–18) with learning disabilities with personal care, daily routines, and preparing for school.
• Prepare meals, help with meal times, and ensure safe bed‑time routines.
• Assist with light housekeeping and create a warm, homely environment.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities such as trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights, or creative projects.
• Keep essential records using the electronic care recording system, documenting, monitoring, and updating children’s and young people’s records accurately.
