Support Worker

Hours: 8 hours per month with the possibility of additional hours as required. Pay: £13.45 per hour. Employer: Personal employer. Location: Monkton, South Ayrshire.

About the Role

Provide one-to-one support to a friendly, curious young man with neurodiversity and learning disabilities. The role involves routine, clear communication, advance notice of plans, and consistency. Accompany the young man to activities such as swimming, cinema, bowling, coffee, parks, beaches, and community outings. Offer respite time for his mother while supporting the young man’s independence, confidence, and positive experiences.

About You

Calm, patient, dependable, and able to give structure and clear guidance. Good understanding of neurodiversity or willingness to learn is preferred.
