Main Duties

We are currently looking to recruit a Support Worker to enable this young person to access and enjoy age-appropriate leisure activities both at home and in the local community.

He has difficulties following instructions and completing tasks and this can be upsetting for him and can affect how he regulates his emotions. It is important that he knows in advance what the plans will be for the day, as he finds any changes in routine very difficult and needs time to prepare himself. Due to his Autism, he can sometimes struggle to understand both verbal and non-verbal communication and also retain information; meaning he needs to be told clearly and specifically what is required of him.

When at home this young person enjoys playing on the Xbox (Fortnite) and also likes playing on his Nintendo switch (Smashbros) and the Mario board game. He loves telling people facts about dinosaurs and his marvel figures. Outside of home he enjoys crazy golf and g...
