Summary This position serves as a Supervisory Transportation Specialist in the Office of Infrastructure Deployment advising the Under Secretary for Policy, Assistant Secretary for Policy, Deputy Secretary and the Secretary. The Supervisory Transportation Specialist will oversee a safety-focused discretionary grant program, develop Infrastructure Policy regarding road, rail, transit, and port infrastructure and provide leadership on the development of infrastructure policy. Responsibilities The Supervisory Transportation Specialist (Discretionary Infrastructure Grants) will perform: Provides authoritative and direct consultation, advice, and policy interpretation to the Director, Office of Infrastructure Deployment and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy on Discretionary Grant Program appropriations in support of DOT to invest in road, rail, transit, and port infrastructure projects impacting transport systems across the country.
