Supervisory Industrial Hygienist

Summary NIST is seeking a Supervisory Industrial Hygienist to serve as the agency's recognized expert in industrial hygiene, to mitigate hazards in complex environments. This role will provide strategic leadership for group operations, planning and direction. This notice is issued under direct-hire authority to recruit new talent to occupations for which NIST has a severe shortage of candidates. Responsibilities The Supervisory Industrial Hygienist will possess broad-based expert knowledge of OSHA regulations and Permissible Exposure Limits, American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists Threshold Limit Values and Biological Exposure Indices, consensus standards and industry best practices related to industrial hygiene.
