Supervisory General Attorney

Summary This position is located in the Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor (SOL), Division of Management and Administrative Legal Services (MALS). We are seeking a FOIA and Info Law attorney to serve as DOL's senior advisor on legal issues related to the Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Act, and other related information law statutes and the protection and handling of personal, private, controlled unclassified, or proprietary information-with the potential to damage the public's trust. Responsibilities The person selected will serve as the Counsel for FOIA and Information Law and ensures legal guidance and litigation support is provided to the Department in carrying out its FOIA, Privacy Act, and other information- related responsibilities.
