Summary This position located in Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, in the Facilities Management Division. The position is the senior principal advisor on matters related to facility maintenance and management Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist position include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee facilities management division planning, budgeting, staffing, and administration by allocating resources and monitoring expenditures; managing hiring, training, and employee performance; leading a comprehensive safety program and promoting a strong safety culture; and providing clear reports and recommendations to park leadership regarding priorities, risks, and long-term facility strategies.
