Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist

Summary This position is aligned under the Engineering Service Line, Facilities Management Section, at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. The Facility Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the Facilities Management Service Work Order Program, Work Order Inspection Program, and is the service's ADPAC. This position must possess an in-depth knowledge of the skilled trades associated with construction, maintenance and repair and operations of plant facilities. Responsibilities Duties Include but Not Limited To: Receives work orders for approval via AMES/MERS from the various services throughout the hospital. Reviews the work orders for accuracy and completeness prior to approval/disapproval.
