MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Resource Supervisor serves as a pivotal leader for the Care Coordination Department, providing day-to-day supervision of resource coordination activities and staff while managing, tracking, and coordinating daily throughput efforts to optimize patient flow across the healthcare continuum. This position oversees workflow prioritization, assignment distribution, and timely follow-up on discharge barriers, and functions as an escalation point for complex patient flow and discharge concerns. The Supervisor provides coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members; supports onboarding and competency development; and promotes adherence to departmental policies, regulatory standards, and payer requirements.
