Supervisor, Maintenance and Facilities (Community Housing)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supervisor, Maintenance and Facilities, working with the Manager, Maintenance and Facilities, is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance program (daily, preventative, corrective, upgrading) of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation is effectively and efficiently carried out in accordance with the policies of the County, Simcoe County Housing Corporation and applicable legislation and standards. Issues related to the buildings, building systems, landscaping, safety & security, equipment, Building Superintendents and summer student personnel are supervised by this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in designing, implementing, and coordinating daily, monthly and annual maintenance programs by giving direction to building maintenance staff in their regular duties and/or assigning maintenance tasks to independent contractors.
