Job Description

Supervises and coordinates the imaging operations and technologists and their daily activities, of one modality. Ensures assignments are completed and maintains quality patient care.

Job Responsibility

+ Promotes Imaging Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.
+ Leads the activities of assigned Imaging Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
+ Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
+ Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational performance; ensures adequate inventory of supplies.
+ Organizes and guides staff towards service line/department goals.
+ Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes.
