The Office is a Commonwealth agency, established in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 12, Sections 12 and 13. * Responsibilities* · This position is for a trial attorney with an emphasis on trying Sexual Assault, Firearm, Violent Crime and Narcotics cases in the Superior Court. · Review case files, applicable statutes and case law, victim information and input, police reports and charging decisions made by police agencies and make appropriate recommendations and changes as needed. · Prepare and present cases to the Grand Jury for indictment consideration. · Handle all pre-trial motions, evidentiary and non-evidentiary motions to suppress and dismiss heard in the Jury sessio...
