Summer Trainee for Quality Control

Crowdsorsa is a fast-growing mobile app startup looking for a GIS trainee to join us in our Tampere office for work involving quality control and QGIS.

We created our Crowdsorsa mobile game for crowdsourcing data collection in 2020. During our 5-year history, we have served more than 100 client cities in seven different countries. Our groundbreaking solution has been featured in over four hundred news articles and acknowledged by the Finnish Biodiversity Award in 2025 and two other international awards earlier. What we expect?

• Strong spatial judgement: estimating scale, boundaries, and geometry of invasive species sightings based on video evidence

• Knowledge of invasive plants is an advantage

• Any experience from working with QGIS or other GIS products is an advantage
