About Us

Inventor Academy (IA) is a charity dedicated to fostering youth leadership and technical skill development preparing them to succeed in a rapidly changing workforce. IA collaborates with The STEAM Project (STEAM) on initiatives that support their shared mission of advancing STEM education. As part of this partnership, STEAM provides IA with equipment, expertise, and other resources to enhance IA’s educational programs and community impact. IA staff play a vital role in supporting children in STEAM’s programs. They provide additional supervision, facilitate inclusion, assist with transitions between activities, and adapt tasks to meet individual needs. IA staff also help foster social interaction, support communication, monitor and manage sensory and physical needs, and work closely with program leaders to maintain a safe, accessible, and engaging learning environment.
