Summer Camp Counselor - Transition Program (Blind/Visually Impaired Youth)

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and compassionate Overnight Camp Counselors to support a 2-week residential transition program for youth who are blind or visually impaired. This is a hands-on role focused on helping students build independence, confidence, and real-world skills in a supportive camp environment.

Camp will take place at Fairleigh Dickinson University during the last two weeks of July 2026. There will be a training week mid July as well.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide 24/7 supervision and support in a residential setting

+ Lead and assist with programming focused on college readiness, career exploration, and independent living skills

+ Support daily routines, personal care, time management, and organization

+ Reinforce pre-employment skills such as communication, teamwork, and professionalism
