2026 Continuing Education Employment Opportunity Grade 9 Orientation Expression of Interest The following summer instructor positions are only open to current HWDSB Permanent, Continuing Education, and Occasional Teachers. Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board values candidate’s demonstrated experience and commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, equitable, accessible, and high-quality learning environment, as well as additional experiences, skills, backgrounds, and lived and work experience. HWDSB Secondary Principals will hire their school’s Grade 9 Orientation Lead teacher and program team from the pool of staff who have expressed an interest in working in the Grade 9 Orientation program through this application. The Program: Grade 9 Orientation is a one-to-two-day program to help incoming Grade 9 students progress smoothly into their new secondary school . Schools determine the format that best suits their school community. Programs will run August 31 and/or September 1, 2026 ....
