SUBSTITUTE LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE: 10-Month School Calendar Position

LPN positions involve caring for the medical needs of students placed in BOCES classrooms which are located in a Special Education Host Site program. Assistance with all medical aspects of the students’ day is expected.

Students need assistance with areas of daily living skills which may include, but are not limited to:


+ Personal care

+ Feeding - may or may not include tubal feeding

+ Monitoring during and after feeding

+ Toileting - may or may not include diapering

+ Maintaining safety during transitions

+ Redirection

+ Task initiation

+ Communication

+ Interacting...
