Substitute Bus Monitors

+ Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.

+ Inspects transportation passes to prevent unauthorized travel.

+ Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus safely.

+ Completes appropriate discipline reports and submits to supervisor.

+ Assists pupils who have a disabling condition.

+ Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion

+ Carries out any other assigned duties and/or responsibilities, which may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education.

+ Possess even temperament and ability to comprehend and carry out the objectives of the position in a way conducive to good personal relationships. Also possesses good judgment, good moral character, personal cleanliness, is courteous, neat, cooperative, punctual, tactful, dependable, honest and loyal.
