Substation Physical Designer

**Overview**

Our Charlotte, NC office is looking for a Substation Physical Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our Power Delivery team!

**Responsibilities**

+ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the design and preparation of the following substation drawings:
+ Substation one-lines and three-lines
+ Station general arrangements and sections
+ Electrical details
+ Grounding plan and details
+ Conduit plan and details
+ Control cubicle layout, sections, cable tray, lighting, and grounding
+ Low-voltage AC panels
+ Grounding
+ Lightning protection
+ Illumination
+ Development of bills of materials and general arrangements from substation one-line diagrams
+ Coordination with protection and controls, civil/structural, and drafting disciplines to ensure quality deliverables
+ Participation in client meetings and site visits for data gathering, as required
