Sub Agent – Rail (Station Project)

Rate: £400–£450/day (Umbrella/PAYE)

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a rail station upgrade project. This is a key delivery role focused on managing sections of works within a live rail environment.

The Role

• Manage day-to-day delivery of civil works on a rail station project
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure programme targets are met
• Ensure works are carried out safely in line with Network Rail standards
• Coordinate setting out, surveying, and engineering activities
• Prepare and review RAMS, WPPs, and ITPs
• Work closely with the Agent and commercial team to monitor progress and costs
• Manage site documentation, quality assurance, and reporting
