Federal Work-Study positions are part-time positions hired each semester and are for current Ivy Tech students.
The Library Work-Study Student will perform assigned duties related to the operation of the library and assist the Library Coordinator and Supervisor as needed.Greeting and assisting library patrons with various tasks such as printing, setting up Zoom, ordering textbooks, and scheduling study room use or appointments for tutoring. Assist with check-out and return of library materials, including books, laptops, calculators, and DVDs. Assist with tracking the number of patrons, utilization of study rooms, and laptop checkout. Assist with answering phone calls and answering emails for the Logansport Library and Logansport-tutoring email accounts. Assist with the distribution of signage for library hours or special events.
