Student Welfare Off - Student Care [ITE College East]

You will provide holistic social work support to ITE students‑at‑risk and will be part of the professional team, working with students and their families, community partners and relevant stakeholders within ITE to enable students to complete their studies, facilitate family work with relevant agencies and access resources (e.g., financial).

• Engage and connect with students and their challenges
• Provide case assessment and set goals/outcomes for students and their families
• Visit students’ homes or other relevant locations for assessment and support
• Refer students and families to relevant stakeholders within and outside ITE to render necessary support
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., departments within ITE, government and community agencies) to provide holistic care and support to students
