Job Description
General
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and approachable Student (pupil) Monitor to help maintain a safe, respectful and well supervised school environment.
The postholder will support pupils across a range of school settings, including corridors, areas around pupil toilets, the canteen, playgrounds, school grounds, arrival and dismissal areas, and other shared spaces. The role requires someone who is confident working with children and young people, able to set clear boundaries, and committed to supporting pupil wellbeing, safeguarding and positive behaviour.
This is a pupil supervision and pastoral support role. The postholder will not be responsible for planning, delivering or assessing lessons, nor will they replace the role of a teacher.
