Student Coordinator for Summer Programs

Be part of Bluewater District School Board this summer as a Student Coordinator for the Landing Success program. Help Indigenous students transition into secondary school while earning co-operative education credits.
This role seeks two enthusiastic Student Coordinators to support grade 8, 9, and 10 Indigenous students. You will use outdoor, land-based learning to build confidence and essential skills among participants. Engage directly with students, sharing your high school experiences and guiding them through this educational transition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support grade 8 Indigenous students' summer transition
• Provide insight into secondary academic expectations
• Assist in planning and implementing summer programs
• Model essential learning skills for student success
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as a Grade 11 or 12 student
• 15 to 24 years old (up to 29 for persons with disabilities)
