Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Specialist to support the finance department of a well-established public sector organization in Harrison, NY.
Responsibilities

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time

+ Support payroll processing and related reporting

+ Maintain financial records in compliance with governmental accounting standards

+ Assist with budget tracking and reconciliation

+ Utilize financial ERP systems for day-to-day financial operations

+ Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders

Qualifications

+ Experience in AP, AR, and payroll — required

+ Public sector ERP system experience — strongly preferred

+ Familiarity with fund accounting and public sector financial processes

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
