**Aviation Sheet Metal Mechanic**

**Location:** Gilbert, AZ (Direct Placement)

**Overview**

This role supports the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft structural components in a back-shop/repair station environment. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, fabricating, and reassembling sheet metal structures and landing gear assemblies in compliance with FAA and company standards. This position offers a contract-to-hire path based on performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Perform maintenance and structural repairs in accordance with technical manuals, blueprints, and FAA regulations
+ Inspect aircraft components for cracks, corrosion, bird strike damage, and other defects
+ Execute sheet metal repairs, including patchwork, fabrication, riveting, and structural modifications
+ Disassemble and reassemble landing gear and other structural assemblies in an MRO environment
