**What You’ll Do**

+ Assist with welding plates to beams and columns for large structural steel assemblies
+ Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) with guidance from experienced welders
+ Learn to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
+ Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and basic layout tools
+ Support the fabrication process including cutting, fitting, welding, and prep work
+ Inspect your work and continue developing strong, clean welds
