**Job Title: Structural Welder**

**Job Description**

This role involves structural welding in a shop environment, focusing on fitting and welding drilling products, fuel tanks, and other custom structural components using mild steel. You will weld the structural framework of drilling rigs, working with a mix of fitting and welding tasks that varies by shift, and will use oxy-fuel cutting torches while maintaining tight fit-up tolerances of approximately 1/8 inch.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform structural welding in a shop environment using mild steel for drilling products, fuel tanks, and one-off structural components.
+ Fit and weld the structural framework of drilling rigs, balancing fitting and welding duties (approximately 50/50 split on day shift and 20/80 split on night shift).
+ Use flux core and metal core welding processes in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
