**Job Description**

The candidate will be performing structural welding in a shop environment, primarily involving the fitting and welding of drilling products, fuel tanks, and other unique structural objects using regular mild steel. Responsibilities include welding the structure of a drilling rig, with a 50/50 split between fitting and welding, adjusted to a 20/80 split for night shifts. The role requires the use of oxy-fuel cutting torches with a fit-up tolerance of approximately 1/8.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform structural welding on drilling products, fuel tanks, and other structural objects.
+ Fit and weld structures using mild steel.
+ Utilize oxy-fuel cutting torches with precision.
+ Ensure fit-up tolerance is maintained at approximately 1/8.
+ Split responsibilities between fitting and welding, with variations for night shifts.
