Structural Fitter

**Job Title: Structural Fitter ($27-$29/hr)**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on fitting and assembling structural steel components for skid-mounted data center racks in a shop environment. You will interpret blueprints, fit up channels and I-beams, and perform your own tacking and prep work using MIG and flux-core welding processes. You will work as part of a skilled fitting team and are expected to operate independently without a dedicated helper.

**Responsibilities**

+ Fit and assemble structural steel components, including channels and I-beams, for skid-mounted data center rack systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to determine dimensions, layout, and assembly requirements.
+ Lay out, fit up, and align structural members accurately using appropriate tools and measuring equipment.
+ Perform your own material preparation, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning parts prior to fit up and tacking.
