Structural FEA Engineer

**Responsibilities**

+ Use finite element analysis and other analytical tools to develop products that meet internal and/or external customer requirements
+ Support and enhance processes and procedures significant to product development
+ Translate product requirements into product design features
+ Work in a team environment towards bringing new product technologies to market
+ Strong communication skills [written/oral] in presenting data and information to others
+ Contribute to ideas for new computational tools in the prediction of tire performance
+ Mentor / coach associates in the development of technical capabilities

**Education**

+ Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred – Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

**Requirements**

+ 4+ years of progressive experience required using **finite element methodologies.**
+ Good knowledge of **structural mechanics/dynamics and/or fluid dynamics**
