Structural Engineer, Mining St. Johns, NL; Brampton, Sudbury; or North Bay, ON Work Environment
In this role, you will be a part of the Mining team, based in St. Johns, NL; Brampton, Sudbury; or North Bay, ON office. Responsibilities
Perform site visits to inspect and assess existing mining infrastructure. Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations per the applicable codes and standards in the mining and heavy industrial sector. Prepare sketches and collaborate with the designers to produce detailed drawings. Coordinate with the clients and other disciplines in developing the layout designs. Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications and scope documents. Prepare and contribute to technical memos and reports, within areas of expertise. Undertake the detailed working drawings of steel, concrete, wood and masonry. Ensure all assigned projects are carried out per the scope, budget and schedule. Partici...
