RPS are exclusively partnered with a global tier 1 aerospace manufacaturer who are looking to hire a Strategic Buyer, following a period of significant growth within the business.

ROLE PURPOSE:

The procurement lead for allocated programmes/commodity. Responsible for managing the BOM cost versus budget, BOM integrity, sourcing decisions and cost reduction opportunities, including change and risk mitigation. Ensuring requirements are met on time, delivering a highly capable and cost-effective supply base, adhering to required quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Responsible for the creation, updating and presentation of procurement slides / actions to the Procurement Manager and Programme / Project site reviews (Business review)
Responsible for the Programme Supplier Sourcing in line with development Strategy.
