Storekeeper

Supervise the daily warehouse activities. Manage the receiving, handling, distribution, and storage of all inventories of dry stocks moving in and out of the warehouse. Investigate stock variances and report on stock issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy of pickers at all times. Any variances need to be checked and reconciled as quickly as possible.
• Maintain the warehouse in a safe, clean and well‑organized state. Racking and product storage should be clearly labelled, and the FIFO principle applied in arrangement and disbursement.
• Adhere to all safety, security and food handling procedures at all times.
• All movements of goods must be recorded and disbursed accurately with appropriate documents like DOs, POs, etc.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure buffer stock levels are maintained. Highlight over‑stocking, under‑stocking, slow‑moving and near‑expiry date stocks to the relevant parties so that action...
