Stock Assistant and Warehouse Operator

Introduction

Our client, the largest online coffee capsules retailer in the country wants to appoint a Stock Assistant at the company’s warehouse in Montague Gardens, near Cape Town.

The successful candidate must be someone who is physically fit, reliable, and detail-oriented to receive supplier deliveries, check stock against purchase orders, manage stock rotation (FIFO), and keep the warehouse in order. A forklift or stacker licence would be a strong plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receiving Stock Deliveries.
• Checking Deliveries against Purchase Orders.
• Handling Delivery Discrepancies.
• Filing Delivery Documents.
• Storing Stock on Racks: Place received stock in the correct storage areas following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Replenishing Front Racks: Keep front-facing packing racks fully stocked from back storage for the packing team.
