Steward

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Steward properly clean, store and maintain all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

+ Operates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.
+ Maintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.
+ Follows proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
+ Adheres to established Ecosure standards.
+ Maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment and cleaning of Dish area prior to the end of each shift.
+ Handles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.
+ Complete all training requirements.
+ ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ High school diploma/GED preferred.
