A Sterile Services Assistant is an integral part of the team responsible for cleaning, decontaminating and sterilising medical equipment. You will work to support the Sterile Services Department Manager in providing a safe and effective decontamination and sterile supplies service to all departments within the hospital.
Working Hours
This role will be 37.5 hours a week: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm, plus 2 in 4 Saturday shifts on a one‑on‑one off basis.
Main duties of the job
As a sterile services assistant you will support the department in ensuring that medical devices are fit for patient use before they are deployed.
