The Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) is a member of the Helmholtz Association (HGF) and funded by federal and state government. Starting each January 1, Logistics Department of AWI is appointing a **Scientist (M/F/d) (meteorology or natural sciences)**as head of the overwintering team at the joint German-French Arctic station (AWIPEV Research Base) in Ny-Ålesund on Svalbard.
