STATE ENROLLED NURSE, PAEDIATRIC WARD

Overview

Provide basic nursing care in accordance with established standards, work collaboratively with team members, and report any incidents or issues to relevant authorities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital.
• Notify nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care.
• Obtain ward report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
• Perform daily routine tasks: conduct regular nursing rounds to assess patients’ needs and communicate with them and their families, prepare and tidy patients’ beds and linens, organise patients’ belongings, disinfect beds, furniture, and equipment, keep the ward, store, and refrigerator clean and tidy, assist patients w...
